Morgan Kneider Patterson

Morgan is a seasoned secondary school teacher, and has a natural connection with teens making them comfortable and relaxed around her. She is relevant and highly skilled in the ways she communicates with teens, making her a trusted ally. She is certified in Applied Positive Psychology, and uses these principles to guide her practice within the classroom. She also holds an International Coaching Federation ACC accreditation, and uses her applied positive psychology coaching credentials in her practice as a teacher as well. She empowers students with proven tools to shift perspectives, see and develop their strengths while improving the way they approach personal and academic challenges. Morgan is passionate about helping kids and teens achieve their best lives. She introduced an interdisciplinary studies course at her school entitled “Positive Psychology and Wellbeing”, the program grew rapidly and hundreds of students have learned and practiced the basic principles and theories to live a resilient and flourishing life. She is excited to see the improvements in well-being for teenagers who participate in the full credit course. This is the first of its kind to be offered in her school district. Morgan is also a LIFT facilitator and trained Bounce Back Better Facilitator with The Flourishing Center, delivering “powerful daily learning experiences designed to measurably enhance and promote mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health” to an international audience. Morgan also owns and operates her business illuminatED coaching, where she offers one on one coaching, team training and an Introduction to Positive Psychology hybrid course for educators, that simultaneously teaches personal resilience skills to counselors and school support staff while delivering actionable and practical tips to use with students and teens.
