Kara Perry
Kara McCarthy Perry, J.D., RYT® 200, is the founder of Just Brilliant LLC, an Affiliated Law Faculty with the Project for Integrative Law in Legal Education at Quinnipiac University School of Law, a Conscious Contracts® Consultant, a Certified Lifebook® Leader, a Mindvalley Certified Life Coach, and a certified yoga, meditation, and laughter yoga teacher. For 22 years, she was a transactional lawyer focused on health care law and contract negotiations at large law firms and an international pharmaceutical company. She was also a Faculty Researcher at the Center for Health & Pharmaceutical Law at Seton Hall University School of Law.
In her work as Conscious Contracts® Consultant, she facilitates clients through a conscious communication process to discover alignment, create a foundation for their relationship, and navigate conflicts collaboratively and creatively. As an Affiliated Law Faculty at Quinnipiac Law School, she teaches the process to law school students in the Negotiation Clinic. Last fall, she was a well-being mentor for students taking the prerequisite seminar course. In her role as a Lifebook Leader, Kara guides clients through a transformational personal design program that empowers them to envision, plan and achieve a 12-category strong life to positively impact the world. She has conducted well-being sessions for the National Association of Women Lawyers, Institute for Well-Being and the Law, Integrative Law Community, Awakening Lawyers Mentor Program, Lifebook Community, Mindvalley Community, IMSApported (Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy), Life Time Inc., Adamsville Elementary School, Quinnipiac Law School, and Seton Hall Law School. Kara is a Yoga Instructor at Life Time Inc. and the and the Co-Chair of the NJ/NY Chapter of Mindfulness in the Law Society. She is passionate about helping legal professionals reduce stress, increase resilience, and improve decision-making through contemplative practices. As the founder of Just Brilliant, LLC, Kara helps other legal professionals live their lives more consciously and counsel more compassionately.
