Vinesh Sukumaran

Vinesh Sukumaran is a Positive Psychologist based out of Bangalore, India. As an Organizational Development Consultant, he has trained and coached over 20,000 people to bring about behavioural change and find more meaning in work and life. Though a trained Mechanical Engineer, Vinesh has been a result oriented consultant for several individuals and corporations like Hewlett Packard, Aricent, Daimler, NetApp, Oil India Limited, Amadeus, The Tata Group, Practo, Boeing, L&T, The Indian Space Research Organization and over a hundred others. He has a Masters Degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri, U.S.A. and his research was based on the applications of Positive Psychology and Sports Psychology for better Coaching, Leadership and Performance. His real expertise lies in the applications of human behaviour and positive psychology to help individuals thrive and ensure organizations flourish. He has also been a member and presenter with the International Association of Facilitators. Vinesh has conducted programs in various countries, like Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, France and many others. Workshops designed and delivered by Vinesh have been rated among the top ones in the world by leading research firms like Technavio and have been published widely in the media. He has held various positions with several small and large corporations in the fields of Behavioural Training, Coaching and Leadership Development including as the Training Head of Thomas International, one of the most widely used behavioural assessment companies in the world. He is a board member of one of the most sought after training and consulting firms in India and is on the panel of experts for Stayfit Magazine. He is a guest faculty at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and has varied interests apart from writing, like Art, Juggling, Bike Rides, Blues Music and the Zen Philosophy. Vinesh has written a few hundred articles about his observations on human behaviour patterns, performance enhancement and wellbeing, many of which are published in popular wellness and lifestyle magazines in India. For his recent book “From Behaviour To Wellbeing” he is compared to Pulitzer prize-winning reporter and best-selling author Charles Duhigg. He has also been following a path of Meditation for over 2 decades, through the mentorship and guidance of the Manasa Light Age Foundation.
