Raquel Rodríguez-Carvajal
Raquel is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Psychology of the Autonoma University of Madrid, specialist in the field of Emotional and Attentional Regulation in Applied Contexts, focused on personal and professional Development and Growth (well-being, self-regulation, mindfulness,...), crossing personal and contextual variables. She also directs the Master of Psychological Intervention in Critical Situations, Emergencies and Catastrophes at the Autonoma University of Madrid and recently she has been enrolled in the European Training Project CIVIS for the development of the European Civic University.
Raquel leads and coordinates a research team of master and postdoc professionals with national and international recognition. At the level of scientific production, she has more than 80 publications in national and international scientific journals and has been a speaker at more than 100 mainly international conferences. With a research background in clinical and health psychology, Raquel actively promotes cutting-edge methodologies such as neural networks, bayesian analyses, or other innovative methodologies based in real time measures (e.g., Experience Sampling Method – ESM).
As a trainer and advisor, her field of expertise has led her to collaborate with institutions of all kinds. In the health sector with national hospitals (Hospital La Paz, October 12, San Carlos ...), and international hospitals such as the University Medical Center in Rotterdam or the San Diego Medical Center (US), as well as psychological intervention clinics (CPA -UAM or the Center for Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy), and public institutions within the Intervention in Critical Situations (SAMUR, SUMMA ..), as well as the State Security Forces and Agencies. Within the new technologies sector, with highly relevant multinationals such as Salesforce, or startups such as Yump, SL. In the Retail sector, Raquel has worked with the Carrefour Group, (also Pryca, Continente)…, in the automotive sector she has collaborated with the Mazda Group, and in the leisure and entertainment sector it is worth highlighting her work with Parques Reunidos o Merlin Entertainments (UK).
Specifically in university training institutions, she collaborates and has collaborated as a teacher in different master's degrees and national Expert Courses (Complutense University, Rey Juan Carlos University ...), and in international MBAs such as the prestigious Business School of the University of Rotterdam, Karl-Franzens University (Austria), Utrecht University (Holland), New York University (US), or the University of California San Diego-UCLA (US) among others.
