Zizhong Xiao
Zizhong (David) Xiao is a 3rd year graduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park. He started his academic journey in sunny Southern California at the University of California, Riverside, where he earned an NSF Graduate Fellowship. Before coming to UMD, he taught English in Malaysia for one year on a Fulbright student scholarship and obtained a M.S. at Azusa Pacific University, also in Southern California. At UMD, he is interested in examining how interpersonal relationships and everyday interactions strengthen people's happiness and well-being.
