Dr. Leanne Hawken is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Special Education at the University of Utah and has 25+ years of experience in the fields of psychology, education, positive behavior support (PBIS) and applied behavior analysis (ABA). As a lifelong learner, Leanne went back to school in 2021 to become certified life coach from The Life Coach School™. She is passionate about combining the science of applied behavior analysis and positive psychology with the tactics of life coaching. Leanne’s a Connection Coach who specializes in coaching dads to improve their relationships with their partners, children, and friends plus increase workplace performance. Leanne brings a lot of energy, fun + humor to her work. She helps families and teachers learn ways to “play” again to improve engagement with children and teens.
