Jennifer Boylan

Jennifer Morozink Boylan is an Assistant Professor of Health and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Colorado Denver. She received her PhD in Biology Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed postdoctoral fellowships in the Health Disparities Research Scholars Program at the University Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health and in the Cardiovascular Behavioral Medicine Program at the University of Pittsburgh. Her program of research centers on 1) conceptualizing positive psychological characteristics and their potential influence on physical health, 2) situating psychological risk and protective factors within broader social contexts (e.g., socioeconomic status (SES), race, and culture), and 3) examining biological mechanisms underlying how the social environment affects disease pathophysiology.
